Morais Vineyards and Winery (Bealeton, VA)
Morais is built around love. It is the place of wedding dreams. Their Mediterranean-style mansion sets the scene. But their iconic love sign tells it all. Need more convincing? They actually have a small chapel next to the tasting room. Not to mention, horses for a horse-drawn carriage. Take a stroll by their mansion and wind down to the pergola-lined lake.
Must try wine: Touriga

A perfect scene for a handheld stroll, you can make your way to the ruins of Barboursville Mansion for an Instagram moment. The Winery at La Grange (Haymarket, VA)
Tasting areas are strewn across the rooms of the historic colonial mansion that houses the Winery at La Grange. If you are getting a bottle, there are rooms with cozy couches. Grab a selfie out back with the 200-year-old English boxwoods. The secret treat is the stone cellar, with dim light and cozy tables to get away from it all.
Must try wine: Benoni Red Blend

Effingham Manor Winery (Nokesville, VA)
Elegant from start to finish. Located in a community of manses, the historic manor at Effingham has been meticulously restored from top to bottom. Give you and your mate a self-guided tour through the manor, or enjoy a bottle by the fire in the modern tasting room. And they sell their own chocolate! Perfecto!
Must try wine: Rosé

Clean and classy, Delaplane sits atop a winding lane to offer breathtaking views of the vines below and mountains in the distance. A modern tasting room with walls of windows gives everyone a memorable view. Delaplane is child- and animal-free, so if a quieter space is on your must-have list, this is the place for you.
